Архитектурные светильники Richard Meier Light

Чудесное воссоединение семьи - это не только радостное событие для родственников, но и для мира осветительного оборудования тоже. Чтобы создать особенные новые архитектурные светильники соединились творческие порывы отца и дочери: американский архитектор Ричард Мейер и нью-йоркский дизайнер Ана Мейер. Оба знамениты и популярны. Он лауреат Притцкеровской премии, она современный молодой дизайнер. В совместном проекте принял участие еще один человек: французский художник по свету Эрве Дескотт. В результате работы такого сильного дизайнерского состава появилась серия светильников Richard Meier Light. Ей характерны знаковые черты творчества Ричарда Мейера, а также функциональность и простота.

В коллекцию входят 12 ламп - светильники всех видов: потолочные, настенные, напольные и настольные. Модели вышли в свет также благодаря американской фабрике Ralph Pucci и дизайнерскому бренду венецианских стеклодувов WonderGlass. 

Вот, что говорят сами авторы новой коллекции Richard Meier Light: «В этой коллекции мы стремились выразить мощь архитектуры в малых формах, – говорит Ана Мейер. – Я была весьма тронута возможностью перевести темы творчества своего отца в новые скульптурные объекты освещения». Баланс между тенью и формой привнес в коллекцию основатель известного дизайнерского бренда L'Observatoire Эрве Дескотт привнес, в результате получилось хитроумное равновесие. «Конструкции символизируют взаимодействие геометрических форм в разных масштабах», - говорит он. 

«Архитектура способна вдохновлять, поднимать дух, питать ум и тело. В этой коллекции мы распространили это чувство на объекты повседневного пользования для всех людей», - говорит Ричард Мейер.

A wonderful family reunion is not just a happy occasion for the relatives, but also for the world of lighting equipment. These special architectural lamps are the product of the combined creative vision of a father and daughter, an American architect Richard Meier and New York -based designer Anna Meier. Both are equally famous and popular. The former is a Pritzker Prize recipient, while the latter is a contemporary young product-designer. They collaborated with a French lighting artist Hervé Descottes, and it is the work of these three design powerhouses that brought to life the Richard Meier Light collection. It is characterised by Meier's signature features combined with functionality and simplicity. 

The 12-piece range features sconces, pendants, table and floor lamps. The models were created at the Ralph Pucci factory in the US, in collaboration with the Venetian glass blowers WonderGlass. 

Here is what the authors themselves say about Richard Meier Light. "With this collection, we aim to bring the power of architecture to a smaller-scale," says Ana Meier. "I was moved to take recurring themes and forms in Richard's work, and translate them into sculptural objects that are interacted with everyday."
A clever interplay of shadow and form is the addition to the collection by Hervé Descottes, the founder of the famous L'Observatoire International lighting firm. 

"These pieces provide a new experience of geometrical shapes of different scales", he says. 
"Architecture has the power to inspire, to elevate the spirit, to feed both the mind and the body. With this collection, we have distilled this feeling into objects that touch people in everyday lives", says Richard Meier.
